There is something so special about your guests opening their mailbox to discover a beautiful envelope addressed just to them. And what’s nestled inside? A thoughtfully-crafted invitation to celebrate a significant moment in the life of someone they love. Your invitation will perfectly reflect the event and the people it honors. And that, my friends, is what LYL is about!
It's so wonderful to meet you! I've always had a passion for art, the making of things and design. In the process of earning my Bachelors in Interior Design from Kansas State University (Go Cats!), I fell in love with the beginning phase of those projects—the graphics, logo design, story development and display boards—a little hint at where the future would lead me. It was during the planning of my own wedding in 2009 that my passion for paper, wedding stationery and design of a wedding brand really emerged. I designed and created all of our paper details, from save the dates to day-of details, and absolutely loved it. From there, I began helping family and friends with their own projects, and LYL grew organically into what it is today. I love working with couples who are planning some of the most important days of their lives. Your stationery should reflect who you are, complement the style of your event and give your guests the best first impression. Think of it as a brand of you as a couple! I want the process to be fun for you and your families. Often I find that passing off the final day of details is very bittersweet for me, because after working you for several months...I’m going to miss you (so please keep in touch!). You'll hear me say this a lot, but it is truly an honor to be a small part of this most wonderful time in your life. So let's create some fabulous paper, shall we?
